Duh. Read the first few words of the synopsis. It clearly states that this is a MODEL, assuming a flat earth and a perpendicular launch trajectory, etc. That is, the elements of rotation and curvature of the planet have been factored out of the equation to simplify it because it is just a MODEL.

I have downloaded many documents from NASA, Military, Naval, Air force, and even surveyors, and they all say the same thing about the non-rotating flat earth. They know it, but there will always be those who won't believe it even if they read it for themselves. All calculations assume the flat earth and not a curved ball earth. How do you work calculations base on flat earth and come up with calculations for a ball. Just doesn't work that way! It is flat.
