So that's why Columbus sailed the Ocean Blue in 1492 so he could prove the World was Flat ! I knew it ! I just can't imagine what a Sextant is used for ? Wow !
Every sphere no matter how large is "flat" on small scales so ...what is the point?
This is a case of a "Flat earth religion,"so by definition...when 2 or more people agree on an observation or event, be it real or imagined. This agreement between parties is not scientific PROOF but only a "proof" of a common belief within a small or large circle of believers. Our eye and our ear betray us daily because we are still primitive animals.
Humans conclude too quickly because it is easier to follow the crowd...and find great difficulty in challenging faith and belief.
RELIGION by definition does not require proof, all that is required is faith.
Historically faith is dangerous in the wrong hands and leads a free people into a world of absolute tyranny, war, expulsion, quarantine, censorship and early death if rejected.
