The conventional explanation is "stitching", as in, a point where many layers of different "ribbons" of topographical map imagery all meet, creating one hell of a mess of different camera qualities from different satellites, different times of day, different times of year, different ice floe configurations... ...I will however be the first to jump forward at my monitor and yell, "COME ON. IT'S 2021 HERE!". You'd think such ugly anomalies would have been solved by now.
But it all is just an animation given to the sheeple by those hiding whats ever really is there. I suspect its the outer darkness spoken about by Jesus. And maybe, they have a Sun simulator floating around way way deep beyond the Ice wall. If in fact that is what there is? - -
And throw the worthless slave into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew. 25:30
If you go all around the coast line you will see lots of blacked out sections as well. Also so google earth can go under water and I found lots of weird crap under the water.
