This is why that fly inside your car is not smashed to the back window as you drive forward. 2: If you jump in the air does not have the earth moving under your in the air body. You are gravitationally locked to the rotation of the earth. 3: As to the attack on Pearl Harbor the Japanese did not fly from Japan. They took off from aircraft carriers which were short flying distance from the Hawaiian islands.

Well, your Map is a little fuked up buddy ! Hawaii is Southeast of Japan, not South. Two, it's 3,844 miles of distance. Three, the planes were Kamikaze Fighter pilots, they were never to return back to Japan. Four, the flight time from Japan to Hawaii at 500mph is 30 minutes......an Uber taxi could make a round trip in an hour. Looking at Propeller Driven planes, I believe the planes flew at 250mph which would be 1 hour of total flight time.
