This footage was taken around 18:30 with my Nikon P900. 97.3 percent full moon February 25, 2021 The Moon phases are dependent on the angle of which the Sun is illuminating the Moon according to the globe model. So when the Moon is almost fully illuminated but not quite as we can still see a sliver of the bottom of the Moon surface in darkness that would suggest that the Moon is being lit from the top according to elementary geometry but the Sun has already set over the horizon! Also what appears to be craters and ridges is only visible at the edge of the crescent, never where the outside perimeter is fully lit.
