The other event is called a solar eclipse, maybe you'll see one.
On June 10, 2021, a huge partial solar eclipse was visible across North America, but from parts of Canada (as well as from Greenland and Russia) a “ring” will be visible around the Sun.
But the “Great North American Eclipse” will occur on April 8, 2024.
