The Weather Channel tells us that, July 8 is the brightest day on planet Earth when daylight covers 99% of the world population. They also show us a cool animation of ball earth depicting this rare phenomenon. But how come a ball surface get upto 75% lit, with parallel light rays coming from the Sun that is 93 million miles away? The Flat Earth model can also explain the same phenomenon with the Sun very close to the Earths surface. Which model do you think is logical?
