Mercury and Venus have wide orbits around the sun. We can see them when the sun is rising or setting by " looking around the edge of the earth". We can't see them in the middle of the night because the earth is in the way.
Yeah, and the sun is flat too. As are the other planets in the solar system, as is the moon, along with every other moon that orbits other planets. You can see Venus at night period! Get yourself some optics and you can prove it to yourself.
