On December 10th, 2021, the German Parliament (Bundestag) passed mandatory vaccination for healthcare workers, and expanding on this, mandatory vaccination for everyone is to be pushed through as quickly as possible. For many people, this is just going too far. They no longer accept these restrictions of basic rights. By the thousands, they are taking to the streets to stand up for their personal freedoms. During the past 2 years, the protests encompassed mainly large demonstrations and a few smaller vigils.
