So what is the status of all of these cases that have been brought forth? I know of one in Canada brought by a lawyer named Rocco Galati filed in Ontario against the provincial government and the federal government, as well as the CBC, but I can find no information about what the status of that case is other than the government has 30 days to file a reply, which was due sometime in August 2020. For anyone who has filed a case, they should know that people are keenly interested in what the status of it is and should be putting out updates about the cases. Also, given the urgency of these cases, those who are filing them should also be petitioning the court to have them heard urgently instead of allowing them to get bogged down in the court system until they become irrelevant.
