The 'population explosion' is the credo of a parasitic, unproductive and general resource greedy section of society, which assumes the rest of us are as worthless as they are, and classify the actual producers as 'useless eaters'. There is no such thing as a 'natural resource' there is only human ingenuity which exploits whatever resources are available. Nobody is nowadays concerned about a shortage of flint to make tools, nor are we too worried that whale oil is harder to come by. People who have no creative skills, but merely leech of their fellows, cannot understand the inventiveness of those that do. They hire people with skills and assume a non-existent relationship between money and original thought, competence and wisdom, which manifestly is not the case.
