I think cognitive dissonance, will prevent that.
They will still think that they did what was "right".
It is easier to fool someone than to convince them that someone fooled them...
I was trying to convince a friend not to got forward with his 3rd dose...
He was insisting that the vaxines are not for immunity but for preventing him of dying.
A very cleaver businessman otherwise...
