Doddridge reminded me of Paul Beckwith, the grad student who wrote an article published by Sierra Club Canada in Spring 2013, predicting Arctic ice would disappear that summer - because he saw cracks in the (constantly shifting) sea ice in satellite photos. Foot-In-Mouth clowns create their own 15 minutes of ... ... infamy.

I notice realclimatescience.com is no longer accessible. When they have no argument but ad homenim, the alarmist crooks must resort to censorship. Absolute proof that they are purveyors of politically motivated lies.

"I'm Gobsmacked" reminds me of a Warner Bros cartoon where they are reporting a UFO, and show an image of some country bumpkin with a stunned look on his face with the caption, "I'd Seen It"! This crap is so absurd now it is comical.

In quoting an n-sigma value, the implication is that for 7.5 million years the sea ice extent has been constant, except for a superimposed Gaussian white noise process. This might be an adequate model for time scales of hundreds of thousands of years, but over a period of less than a century is utter BS. Is the man a knave or a fool? He sure as hell isn't a scientist.
