Just imagine how good the GOOD deep fakes are. I think we're already past the point where you can not trust anything you see on a screen. If the AI has already taken over, all news, televised and printed, everything sent or communicated over the internet or through digital airways, would all be compromised. With the systems we rely on for communication and information sharing, there is no way for anyone to be certain that this hasn't already happened.
