Tony Heller has pointed out many times that the current trend is warming. That was the case before the industrial revolution, going back to the end of the little ice age. So yeah, it's getting warmer... naturally. That's a good thing too as cold kills way more people than warmth.

@Outrigger It seems the illogic of my post escaped you. I can find as many incorrect climate predictions of climate denialists as you can from climate alarmists. Most of these predictions are not from scientists who actually analyze date, create global climate models and do predictions with error bars that depend on many factors. You just love to show all these quotes about the snow disappearing from people as a ruse to claim that all climate change predictions based anthropogenic drivers is false. The same illogic applied can be applied to denialists you repeadedly predicted global cooling and therefore all denialist claims are false. Show me ONE IPCC chapter or model that predicted all snowfall in the UK will stop. Give it a try.

@bgrosz The BIG difference is the trends and global spread of these changes in the last decades. Tony shows you weather (time limited) that is similar to today in geographically limited areas or that where caused by solar cycles, or Milankovitch cycles, volcanoes.

@notmev - So then you're with me to correct all these alarmist predictions about climate catastrophe (from the wrong kind of scientists)? Then you're on my side that every time there's an extreme climate event and political leaders, the press, and the wrong kind of climate scientist scream 'this is caused by human CO2 emissions', you will make an effort to correct these morons? .... Yes, I agree humans are causing some warming, just not catastrophic, probably not even significant. .... I don't know of any long term climate predictions of climate skeptics. I think they know better than to go there. Except for the people who are talking about a weak sun sending us into an ice age. I'm very skeptical about that too.

@Outrigger Unless whoever is adding probabilities to their statement I do not listen. They need to qualify what the science says or doesn't say, that the probability of X happening was increased by Y because of climate change based on these specific research papers. Did you watch https://climatecrocks.com/2021/01/27/heat-records-outpace-cold-you-knew-that-heres-the-graph/ ? These were denialists saying that global warming was not going to happen, but that global cooling was going to happen.
