@Notmev: I believe I will go on. How much territory did Russia gobble up from Ukraine after Trump became president? Who confronted the Iran back malicious in Iraq and through them back, making Iraq more secure? Who began negotiations with the Taliban? Who destroyed ISIS? Who forced NATO to live up to their treaty obligations? Who renegotiated trade treaties so that American workers could actually get some of the benefit from overseas trade? Who took major steps to secure our southern border? If you actually gave a damn about COVID-19, you should worry about hundreds of thousands of people swarming across our southern border. Not bad for only four years.

Your Trumpet was on course for a major conflict!!!... Not saying it's not or never going to happen now though!! 😝. America has done so must damage in the past. People just don't forget!... https://youtu.be/PNhfnBcfHTc

Sorry we are not perfect. Perhaps one day.

I just guess I did not see the Mahatma Gandhi hiding within trumpy. I disagree with your glowing assessments of trumpy. But since you believe so much in him, he needs your money again: https://www.huffpost.com/entry/trump-cpac-fundraising_n_603aa9e3c5b617a7e40e172f

@NotMev: Please tell me where I am wrong about anything I said.

FleaMagnet

@Notmev: Wow! What a short memory you have. Why did President Obama receive the Nobel Peace Prize again?

notmev

I didn't agree with it then or now for obama. And I don't agree that trumpy should get it either. So instead of that pithy response of yours, how about a response to the irrational claim that trump is a "dove" and should get a noble peace prize.

That is an easy one. How many treaties negotiated between Israel and three Islamic Middle Eastern countries? I believe three, not to mention normalizing economic relations between Serbia and Kosovo. Also, the first American president to meet with the leader of North Korea, even though the United States and North Korea are still technically in a state of war. Should I go on?

Serbia was fighting against Islamic jihadists. The US, naturally, spoonsored the Islamic terrorists..

The Democratic party is the party of Fascism and endless wars. The Republican party has recently, in part thanks to Trump, become the party of peace and prosperity.

The Cheny administration from 2000 to 2008 begs to differ.

I shared this on my timeline, prefacing it with the following comment: Pursuant to my previous message [regarding the recent airstrikes on Syria - JB] It's a mystery to many of my friends and colleagues that I prefer Trump to the Democrat apparatus. So a little background (greatly simplified)... Though I disliked both US parties, I generally favored the Democrats. It looked like both were driven by essentially the same warlike forces. When Trump began tossing aside one Republican after another in 2016, I saw the possibility of an outsider bringing Washington a little closer to the people's interest. I took the fact that many Republicans maintained their enmity toward Trump (the Bushes more aligned with the Clintons, for example) as an endorsement of Trump. The argument that "even Republicans" dismissed the claims of election fraud as proof there was none fails on this point. So, when some hamfisted tweets and locker room talk outweigh the fact that Trump is the first president in decades not to start a war and is a bona fide candidate for a *deserved* Nobel Peace Prize, among many other accomplishments, I see that as an indoctrinated hatred for the man pre-empting any fair judgment of him. What we have now is a confused, not-all-there warmonger and the stirrings of war as the society-destroying agendas Yuri Bezmenov warned us about regain their vigor. Here is a 20-second video contrasting the attitudes of #s 45 and 46: [link to this video - JB]

Sorry, but I did divide this into paragraphs.

This is not a defense of the pro bombing biden and other democrats. It is just an example of trump saying the opposite about an issue, so he and others can claim whichever statement from trump is the one for you to listen to: https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2016/09/donald-trump-is-often-more-hawkish-than-the-washington-elites/502145/

jrbleau

Thanks for the article. It dates from 2016. It concludes with: "A vote for Donald Trump is not a vote against hawkishness. It is folly. He is inexperienced, he is ignorant, and his hawkish instincts are wrong. He wants to lead the party composed of legislators who still defend the Iraq War. His own record is significantly more hawkish than the median Democrat in Congress. And many times, he urged the establishment that he savages to go farther. Only his lies obscure this." Now, with hindsight, it turns out that he was a dove - one that walked softly and carried a big stick and probably merits a Nobel Prize for it.

@jrbleau If the nobel is handed out for most bombs dropped on a foreign country by the us in a president's 4 year term, then yes. It will be the first time that such a "dove" of a president got a nobel piece prize. If you have any data that shows that trump dropped less bombs over his 4 year term compared to any 4 years of obama, please show me. https://www.statista.com/chart/16079/weapons-released-by-the-us-coalition-over-afghanistan/

Hey Benditover!!. How can you tell what is a lefty or a righty article!!!?. 🤔... https://www.2lt.com.au/trump-who-vowed-to-end-wars-has-dropped-more-bombs-than-bush-or-obama/ ... Do you really just benditover for Tony & Trumpy or do you suck as well!??

notmev

@Bandit6 Can you point me to a rightest reference article that shows trump dropped less bombs than obama? Just one will do.

FleaMagnet

I am sure that many people in the Middle Est, especially the Christians, were grateful that President Trump confronted ISIS.

This juxtaposed against your previous video says it all.
