The thing is, this is happening at the very highest levels of the sport. The European Championships? Check. La Liga? Check. Champions League? Check. This isn't just some dudes having a kick around in a park some Saturday afternoon.

The average soccer player runs 7 miles per game. That is not straight line running but rather they are weaving, dribbling jumping, etc. They also run in training. They are in great shape and yet they are having these "rare" heart attacks? How many of these "rare" heart attacks occurred in soccer players previous to 2021? Soccer has been around for a long time so there should be some stats on the number of players going down due to heart attacks on the field. Maybe the media can make up some favorable stats to keep pushing the lies. "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.
