I have also read 350 ppm was the target. Also read preindustrial CO2 levels were tha target. The real target is absolute control over every aspect of your life.

I was 8 years old when that storm hit. We heated our house with a coal stove and my job was to keep the stove full of coal and empty of ashes. I was the tallest kid in 2nd grade (the other kids came to my shoulders) and when I finished digging a trench through the snow to the coal shed the top of the trench was slightly above my head. I waddled back to the back door carrying a bucket full of coal, carrying it with both arms, hanging between my legs. The coal stove kept the living room and kitchen warm but one could see their breath in the bedrooms. The next summer my dad bought a natural gas stove with fan powered ventilation piping between the rooms.

When that happens it is really crap.

1963/64 here in Aberdeen Scotland. My mother always talks about that winter. Humans and our ancestors have survived 3 real ice ages.
