It is not unexpected that climatologists are pointing out specific current weather variations as evidence of anthrogenic warming. However, every good and rigorous scientist would be aware of selection bias, and immediately discount such claims as cherry picking. It is not difficult to run thousands of simulations and find concordance with a few of them. Like any random pattern generator, inevitably, some correlation with a set will be generated. Science is about predictions based on unassailable unambiguous reproducible and overtly evident facts constrained by rigor, logic, and observation/testing.
