Masks are about as effective as a baby pacifier. A bad habit that can have unintended health consequences. Concentrating infectious pathogens at their entry point is not a really good idea.

Some masks seem to work fine- especially N95 and KN95. Other masks are worthless. I can't understand why the better masks are still hard to get after almost a year of this plague.

@freedom_of_speech Unfortunately the explanation is simple. Companies did not want to invest in new productions lines (either brand new or repurposing other lines) without guaranteed orders. The federal government needed to step up way back in the spring and do this. Now for my complete opinion. Trump, being a myopic genius, did not like the idea of long term planning for the coronavirus that he said was going to go away in the spring/summer with all its sunshine. Ramping up long term production of the 2 types of good masks would go completely against what he was saying publicly.

For your information: CCP virus is between 0.06 and 0.13 microns...the "fabulous" and government enforced N95 mask can filtrate at the very best 0.3 microns (and that does NOT include the many leakage points, where the mask does not fit snug against the skin) That, my dear stupid moronic friends, is the reason, doctors are taken off the operation roster when they indeed catch an infectious respiratory disease like a coronavirus (like the flu). Have you ever looked/read any information on virus containing aerosols and the ability of N95 to filter them? Some masks do only filter droplets, some also filter single micron and sub-micron aerosols. Have you ever read anything about viral load and its implications to disease progression and severity?

If she or the DNC doesn't wait then Harris will have only 6 years as president. So, I suspect that Joe, regardless of his mental capacity, will be president for a minimum of two full years but during that time he'll just be mouthing what Harris tells him.
