In talking with a neighbour yesterday, we were discussing how so many grasshoppers are beginning to plauge some Western provinces, due to such high heat levels, and lack of rain. I mentioned that I haven't actually seen a grasshopper since I was a kid. Then they seemed to be everywhere. Perhaps more evidence that summers used to be hotter, and drier.
