New versions of diseases emerge as a result of vaccinations - it's a simple case of evolution in action. If a vaccination gives resistance to a base strain this allows alternative strains which are more resistant to the vaccine to surface and become the dominant version. That's why every health agency on the planet has been asking doctors to cut down on their prescribing of penicillin...so if new variants are arising it's not due to the unvaccinated but rather the vaccinated. This would also explain why the Omicron variant is hitting vaccinated people so hard - the ONS figures clearly show that vaccinated people are more liable to actually catch this version and there's a clear correlation between the number of vaccinations received and the infection rate (and severity experienced). We need to understand variants and strains. All viruses mutate and my understanding is that variants do not escape the vaccines. A strain needs a new vaccine. We never hear anything about flu variants and the annual flu vaccine contains vaccines for the strains predicted for that year. Why then do we hear about corona variants and why are they so dangerous if the definition of the flu variant applies? Why do the variants appear and vanish, never to return anywhere? It is all part of the propaganda to generate more fear.
