I wonder at the intelligence (or lack thereof) of people who think they can make the world richer by strangling the goose that laid the golden egg. The wealth of the West is a consequence of its superior technology. Yes the world has many civilizations dating back thousands of years, which begs the question; where are their aeroplanes, steam ships or computers? How can you claim superiority if in thousands of years you fail to achieve what Western civilization did in two hundred years?
