It is now more important than ever to learn the basic laws that govern your everyday life and interactions. A group in Canada successfully used knowledge of the law to protect themselves from illegal intimidation after Mall security called the cops in an ultimately unsuccessful attempt to try and remove them from the premises. They used the law to prove they were breaking no law. Protect yourself. This is a perfect example of self-protection through self-education. Don't be intimidated just because someone is wearing a uniform.

Great job, it's sad that the public can be more informed of the law that police and security officers. That said as a kid learning about the civil rights movement in the US South of the 1950's and 60's I would wonder why one group of people could be actively discriminated against including by the police. I would wonder how civil society could stand around and let it happen. Fast forward to 2021 and I can see it now in real time. It's troubling that a generally civil society can stand by and allow governments to and by also using the public and businesses against other citizens who are just trying to live to the same civil rights of all others... It's amazing to see this in real time whereas a kid I only knew about similar civil rights discrimination of one group of people by reading the school books. 🤔😢
