Who owns NewTube? I thought of the name years ago but didn't have the cash to do anything with it. I thought of it when joutube started banning truth. I even remember the art I was gonna use. Oh well, I'm glad someone did something with the name NewTube. Unless of course it is another trick? (Like Bitchute and Gab)

You know, I would love to have the original name saved in the download video instead of that ugly alphanumeric string, but it's a limitation of the web, the browser won't a website change the name of the upload if it comes from a different server, in this case a storage server (uploads3.newtube.app). I've thought about implementing something where when you go to download it, it downloads first to the server you're downloading from, and then you download from there so it can save the full name from the title. I guess the best thing to do otherwise is click 'Copy Details' and then paste that in, probably the best workaround, but yes that's why it saves as an ugly string and not the proper name, a hard limit by the browsers 🤔
