Electrical Cars…From 100000 to 0 in 10 years…now that’s Depreciation…there is no substitute

https://www.topgear.com/car-news/electric/top-gears-top-20-electric-cars The battery costs 30000 and is done in 10 years. The rest of the car has depreciated at 20 percent per year. The cost of fuel is similar to Gas overall in dollars. The driving range is a fraction of gas and if you live in a hilly area or cold climate or hot climate it is a fraction of a fraction. The raw Torque power for hills is a fraction of gas. The fill up time is 1000 times longer than gas. The amount of power consumed is much more because of how heavy the battery is. The pollution produced from beginning to end of the battery offsets the gas pollution specifically when adding the fact the that the fuel is likely 95 percent produced by Coal burning to produce the electricity and then sending it 1000s of miles to the car. Much more expensive than gas. Positive It is quieter and pushes the production pollution stench to a far off place, still on earth though (negative). I think it is a great option to have EV and to peruse technology advancements in batteries. It must and should not be mandated. Seems that all these Mandates result in more death than less death. Corporate Government authoritarianism is wrong and I have seen it everywhere all my life.
