The shot doesn’t work and even if it did perfectly then there were only 1 billion fully protected or one eighth of the total that could be saved so if say 4 million died in the first 2 years without shots, and you now protect 1 billion then only one eighth of 4 million deaths could have been prevented which is 500 thousand.
