It's all bullshit. Man cannot pierce the firmament. We cannot go past the Van Allen belt. The amount of radiation in this belt is lethal. Period!

Artiemax. No, NASA has not lost the ability to make Saturn V Rockets. The main contractors and hundreds of sub contractors stopped producing the items to make Saturn V Rockets. Once the Congress stopped funding the Moon missions there was no reason for any of the businesses to keep and or keep building all the things to build a Saturn V and all parts of Apollo. There is no reason to even attempt to build Saturn V Rockets today. They are 60 year technology... Ford does not build 1969 Mustangs, GM does not build 1971 Cadillac Eldorado's, Chrysler does not build 1970 Dodge Chargers anymore. When the USA sends men to the Moon again it's going to be built around 21 st. Century technology and engineering.

NASA has "lost" the ability to create the Saturn 5 main rockets

Some of you just don't understand. The LM was designed only to operate in the vacuum of space. It need not be some thick skinned machine. It had enough of a structure to support itself and two astronauts. The skin only has to be strong enough to support enough oxygen, I recall 🤔 it was about 5 psi as opposed to 15 psi at sea level on Earth. This kept the two astronauts with enough life support to exist while on the moon. So yes the astronauts had to be careful of the thin skin of the LM. They trained for it all quite extensively while on Earth. They were also disciplined, most had military backgrounds as a training and a competence ideal. They were not twits or bumpkins messing around during any part of the journey including landing on the moon. The LM was appropriately designed to keep it launch weight at a safe minimum but it's strength to work in the vacuum of space strong enough. There is nothing to see here I this sadly ignorant video. Peace ✌️ out.

Hahahahaaha. Poor Gordo. Remember we all started off like him but we continued to question and research. Hopefully Gordo will too

Those flying test beds were having to work inside earth's atmosphere and wind conditions. They were harder to control because of this. On the moon the LM had no other elements contesting it's space flight ability. The astronauts only had to using a descent engine to control it's rate if descent as the LM landed on the moon. And yes it was still tricky as the astronauts would no know how solid or secure or a landing space they would land on as they got settled on the moon.

The LM is fully capable of being produced today but there is no tools or manufacturing space for doing it today for their is no budget to build them. Manufacturers are not going to build these now old tech machines for free. The next LM will also be 50 years more advanced so why would anyone want to use 1960's technology?

The LM was designed only to operate in the vacuum of space and at most endure a gravity that is 1/6th. that of Earth. It was not needed to be beautiful nor over built.
