I am a retired geologist and a licensed Amateur (Ham) Radio operator. KI5KET is my call sign. This channel is primarily about technical and operational matters related to Ham radio, and it is intended for newly minted Technician class and General class licensees. From time to time, the channel will include posts related to the subject of geology, my profession for 40 years until my retirement at the end of 2019.
