The ACE2 receptor is what causing the infection in the first place. The problem is, this technique will contribute to cell destruction, times 1 trillion and you're dead meat ! Why ? Because the responsibility of the protein molecule has been tampered with and missing an important ingredient for cell maintenance to be complete. It's like telling the Maintenance Man, "here, take these bricks and repair the wall; oh sorry, there's no mortar; do the best you can."
