I tested my water, which was Kroger Distilled brand, and it FAILED. You can use a simple Ohm meter to test for conduction. It should read zero, if it is real distilled water and has no additives.

From one website mrwatergeek.com I found PENTA is the best water bottle. they go threw 13 step filter. NESTLE is second. They go threw 12 step filter. NIAGARA is third. They eliminate smallest amounts of microorganisms. They also use reverse osmosis. Everyone is welcome to do their own research by boiling water from each water bottle brand or they can add a reference site like I did.

Humans survived without distilled water in the past, at what point did it become necessary to drink distilled?

Yes in the past, before all the GMO, CHEMICALS/Poisons, ect.. in the water. Testing electrically is just a test to see if there is crap in the water, but there is allot more junk that will not change conductivity, like Monsanto's Round-Up.. So yes it is a big deal. But do as you please.
