It is our heritage by God's choice that He chose us for these days. Friends it is a good thing to have the fear of God and is a sign of wisdom as it is written. Ask why is it some pastors and even the Baptist themselves nowadays are denying and preaching against the need to be baptized, as it is written in Acts 2:38. What would motivate these pastors to be against obeying and doing just as Christ Jesus did Himself and taught? There is only one truthful answer why they go against baptism, and that is either they are just repeating that which they have been taught, or they are wolves in sheep's clothing. Just read the first few chapters of the book of Acts and it becomes clear, every one got Baptized. All those who heard the preaching of the Apostles were Baptized and went on teaching the same , Baptism is the first step and saves as taught as it is written in Mark 16:16.. So beware the deceivers, beware anyone whom suggest opposing teachings. Like we find in those big expensive 501-3C tax exempt church buildings. These same remained Fauci compliant and closed their doors and chose to obey the mandates of men over God.
