Why isn't there a Fire Suppression system from the Shore-Line up and out to the farming areas on the other side of Lahaina, salt water pumps can run on back-up generators ! You could build a Water Tower at the base of the mountain that can deliver 20,000psi water pressure to extinguish any fire that tries to develop ? This is where your technocracy is suppose to be going too, not to ski boats and tourism ? Something is behind time here ? Who the hell is running the Government ?
