Those are horsehair worms. They are a parasitic worm that use insects as a host. You can look them up and find much info on them. Although they are not supposed to be a threat to humans many people are experiencing a problem with them. I myself included. It sucks and it's scary. There is no help or cure because they "don't use humans as hosts". Wtf ever I say, this infection or invasion is destroying my life, I lost my job and can't work because I don't want to cause harm to anyone else. I was attacked by one in my kitchen last week trying to get in my ears and up my nose. I fortunately knocked it to the floor and injured it and picked it up with a glove on and tried to get it in a jar and ended up killing it in the threads on the lid cause it didn't want to go in the jar. I have not opened the lid yet.
