Given the societal sign posts and the lessons of history, the cynic in me says that collapse is the only way forward. Might even be on our doorstep. Hopefully the vein of freedom that still runs strong through the great nation of Canada can save us from the tyranny at our door masquerading as a "deadly pandemic".
