I would suggest that this "pastor" watch the episode of the series World at War that deals with the Holocaust. In that episode, there is a part where a German soldier give testimony to having witnessed exactly what was described of the Holocaust concerning Jewish people being gassed and cremated in ovens. There is also a series on the YouTube channel by the same name, World at War, about the einsatzgruppen that went around Eastern Europe shooting hundreds of thousands if not millions of people before the gas chambers were built.
