Feel like I should be on a walkabout in Australia. Does it vibrate in any way when played? Feel vibrations in hands or lips? Just wondering.

Indeed, work over vibrations of the lips. But sometimes you can be so connected to the didgeridoo that can feel your head vibrating. It's all about a technique called circular breathing
