I followed Tony Heller from You Tube over here. This is an awesome website and “app”. Absolutely ingenious avoiding the app store. Watch out for updates from your phone trying to delete non apple store “apps”.

I really like the Newtube player. I was aware of the frame by frame in oldtube and have used it a couple of times when trying to pick out specific things in a video, but wasn't aware of the much better feature in Newtube's player until watching this video. Also, the resize feature is awesome. I'm one of a very small minority that has never signed up to twitter, I was put off by the awful name right at the beginning and that type of social networking as never really appealed to me.

1850GMT Just tried to watch a Tony Heller vid on a pc. Very difficult to get to and when I looked last it’s not displaying correctly. On both pc and phone there is a ‘check’ being done by Cloudflare to ‘prevent DDoS attacks’. Phone works best. Pc not so much. I’m in the U.K.

Just watched some videos without a problem, an hour later now the videos are getting stuck trying to load, anyone else having the same problem and does anyone have any solutions please.

WebCrawler instead of google search Parler instead of Twitter Minds instead of Facebook Newtube/Rumble/BitChute instead of Youtube. Right now. these are my alternatives. Parler is really picking up traffic, but it does feel a little clunky(noy very smooth). Minds has free speech, but it isn't very populated. And the 3 youtube alternatives are picking up traction, at least for videos that aren't cute n cuddly.

I have just been shadow banned from youtube (my first time lol ) and so I have come to newtube where hopefully my right to free speech will be respected. The site looks great and at least the videos load and play for me unlike bitchute which doesn't work for me at all for some reason. Here you have to wait for videos to load a bit but hey we could all do with slowing down a bit I guess. Good job.

Hey man, for what it's worth I just want you to know that I very much appreciate what you are doing here, and the stand you are taking by doing so. I'm not sure what gave google/facebook/twitter the idea that they are the gate keepers of fact/fiction, or have the right to judge our thoughts and beliefs but I guess us common folk are just too stupid to be trusted with things like that. As long as you stick to your guns and leave the judgement in God's hands and respect our rights, then you have my full support. Your work on this site, and it's chosen features are wonderfully simple functional, and intuitive. Yes, NewTube is great technologically. I still have to use YouTube because most content creators are on YT. But, for example I'm still subscribed to Tony Heller's channel on YT, but I watch his videos only on NewTube. From my point of view, the only other competition for NewTube is Bitchute. I haven't checked out Cinnamon, though. It seems to me Cinnamon's approach to pay creators per second via coil with digital currency might be interesting. Downside would be that users need to buy a monthly subscription.
