I use an apple TV box and so far I don't see any way to get the NewTube app running on it. I guess this is also part of limiting free speech. Perhaps it is time to throw it out and get a new TV box, or even a new smart TV. Any recommendations?

I don't think I have ever subscribed to any content on YT. I have just subscribed to yours. What a sad state of affairs we are in. The fall of the American Empire is clearly underway. As far as I am concerned YT does not exist, I don't even look at links to it. If I wanted propaganda, I would simply watch the BBC. I binned my YT account years ago, as my material is offensive to those incapable of rational thought.

Thank very much. In the last days YT censored a lot of ordinary, polite comments too. Happened even to comments from online lectures of universities. May be they adjusted their bots to harm the content makers by frustrating their audience. YT is done for me.
