A wavy jet stream would be just an expanding and contracting circle of air on a Mercator map projection... which would make a lot... a lot... more sense!

The most sensitive area to global warming is the Arctic, as agreed upon by climatologists. It must be evident there before any attribution to any other event elsewhere. Yet there is not unambiguous, unassailable and overt evidence of unnatural patterns of ice cover, temperature or climate change in the Arctic. In fact, nothing is out of the ordinary is measured. If the most sensitive indicator of warming is not evident, then nothing attributed to warming is true. This is simple logic. Scientists know this. Note that predictions related to warming are much less offered and are heavily circumscribed and caveated since the initial predictions have had an abysmal success rate.
