If some people really want us to believe the warming lies, why are their claims so un-gifted?

My take (and to play devils advocate), there were less people in the 70s, fewer insurance polices and lower property values making total payouts far less than today. Higher payouts are due to more people, more polies, inflation and higher property values plus after the disasters of the 70s, it's possible many people bit the bullet & bought better policies. Higher value Insurance payouts don't necessarily relate to weather conditions.

Corporate Media feels free to rewrite history as necessary for desired narratives. Made possible by a totally dumbed-down public who seem no longer capable of critical thinking or even reading.
