Yikes, at $50,000 a pop for a Tesla electric car that’s a bit pricey and on a full charge max 350 miles range! That’s a lot of waiting 20 to 30 minutes to charge up to 80% each time I need to recharge. Annually I drive about 50,000+ miles every year. I read for $110,000 I could purchase to an upgraded Tesla which is rated to go 450 miles on a full charge. If I recharge on the road to go 50,000 miles annually that’s about 3 days at the charging station every year not counting waiting my turn to get to a charging station when on the road. Here’s the math 50,000 / 400 = 125 stops - 125 x 3 = 62.5 hours / 24 = 2.6 days or rounded up 3 days of my life annually plugged in to recharge. If I have the $50,000 electric car it’s approximately 3.5 days of my waking life. ————- I got better things to do with my time then recharge an overpriced electric car. Global balmy anyway is a fairytale.
