What we're seeing today is not a copy of any former system, so calling it communism, socialism, fascism, capitalism, etc., only confuses people and keeps the misdirected infighting going. What they've done is taken parts of capitalism, socialism, fascism, communism, nationalism, democracy, feudalism, slavery, and meticulously crafted a new system of control that works best for them. Calling it "communism" is so simple minded that it's actually helping them out.
