When I called out the New York Times for their false claims about burn acreage five years ago, they silently rewrote the article - and replaced it with something equally as dishonest.

The most since before 1960. That sounds stupid. Like: The most after before 1960. But most people will just belive, it means there is something dangerous.

Lies are bad but when they are used to justify idiotic policies and robbing people of their time by stealing the money they make, well, then it's time to stop playing. And censoring the truth is fascism. What is Congress doing? Stealing money from people who aren't even born yet. Neat trick.

When they steal your money it is not just your time they are stealing, they are stealing your life. Your time and labor are your life, and they are robbing you of that while they eat caviar figuring out how to steal more

Bandit6: In fact, there was a SCOTUS ruling in the early 1920's that declared taxing income derived from those on an hourly wage was, in essence, robbing them of their life and was, therefore unconstitutional. I read about that ruling once 15 years ago but haven't been able to find it since but remember it quite vividly. The entire fiasco of income tax is abhorrent. And probably illegal. Certainly immoral.

As in property tax. You never can own real property because if you can't pay "the tax" they can steal it from you. Way more worse than even income tax. I would say that GOVERNMENTS are the problem of all the worlds ills and not money. I will admit that it is the people who run the said government(s) are the real problem. Why people put up with it is beyond me
