In the cold war in the 1950's they had children hiding under desks to protect against the A-bomb. Now they have them wearing masks to protect against the C-virus. Equally as ridiculous because a virus particle is so small it passes right thru most masks. The only exception is a N95 mask which is specifically designed to stop 95% of viruses above 1 micron in size. Which means if it is smaller than this it can pass right thru. And this does not even consider touching transfer where touching doorknobs then adjusting the mask because it has slipped again transfers virus to the nose and eyes and into the body. It could be argued that even if the mask does stop virus particles, the touching of masks to adjust them transfers virus so well into the body that it defeats any benefit of the mask trapping any airborne virus. And expecting a child not to be continually touching mask is ridiculous.
