  - 3:59

Post industrial revolution society, and more recently our computer chip dependent society, are on an inevitable countdown to expiration. Before widespread reliance on fossil fuels, all the forests were cleared to produce charcoal. When they run too low, our modern society will crash and burn. Now, every aspect of society has become reliant on computer chips functioning at the same time that our geomagnetic field is decreasing in strength. How long until a solar or otherwise cosmic electromagnetic or high energy particle event damages all the chips that aren't buried or encased in lead? Cost and control of energy to the population doesn't matter when the fuel or infrastructure to distribute and use that energy ceases to function.

I fear the 100/200 year droughts will return one day, we will not be ready, millions will die, and it will be blamed on man(white man, probably). A fitting end for stupid humans.
