The Weather Channel is just as corrupt as the American Meteorological Society -- all climate alarmists.

It was a John Coleman video that opened my eyes to the climate scam.

A few days ago the Weather Channel had a segment talking about rising sea levels in Miami Beach causing flooding, caused by MAN MADE climate change of course. The only problem was there had been several stories recently about the flooding problems in Miami Beach caused by the land sinking, Miami Beach is built on fill land and is sinking, it has nothing to do with rising sea levels. It is absolutely disgusting all the propaganda spewing from the Weather Channel, everything that happens they blame on man made climate change.

Ah, quit pickin' on Toby666 you guys, his comments serve the useful purpose of illuminating the stark difference between a poop flinging monkey with a keyboard and a sound, reasoned, backed by history, and grounded in real experience, argument. Toby is not an intellectual challenge to anyone subscribing to this channel and serves to illustrate the buffoons we all have to deal with daily. Humans have blamed other humans for bad weather for thousands of years. Modern day climate alarmists are not any different from ancient priests demanding sacrifices from the people; sacrifices that never seemed to have any effect on the weather, but made the priests a very wealthy, elite class! See...no difference!

<p>Many years ago the NE roads department built a clover leaf to take traffic from the north bound lane of I180 to the west bound lane of Cornhusker highway. Google coordinates are :40.837514, -96.710993 </p> <p> As one can see from Google's historical images the years between 2000 and 2003 saw that bowl being used to park NE road maintenance equipment. It also shows that ground alternated between being dry and dusty, and green with grass. </p> <p> During a dry spell dust started blowing out of the "bowl" and it times would obscure vision of drivers on both roads. The dept of roads planted grass but it didn't rain enough to water it adequately during the dry spells. Then the dry spell passed and rains filled the bottom of the bowl and made a pond. Ducks landed on the pond. The EPA immediately declared that clover leaf a "wetlands" and rules from the Clean Water Act (CWA) were applied. I don't know what the act stipulates today but 20 years ago folks couldn't put boats on it, fish it, hunt it, or change its drainage. LOL! Later it didn't rain so much and the bowl dried up again. </p> <p> It was easy to see from the applications of the CWA by the EPA the purpose of the act was to wrest control of the lands from the owners, usually farmers, to the government, with the owners picking up the bill for what ever the government forced them to do.</p>

We were thought in school that rivers were diverted from the sea by the Soviets and that's what caused it to disappear. Now I couldn't find the information anymore, and before relegating it to fake news, turns out that was the Aral sea, not the Caspian...

Imagine a world where politicians and climate "scientists" told the truth? Sure, they wouldn't make as much money exploiting their power, but at least all the stupid people could stop living in fear.

A few good sized storms or snowmelts and it will be full again. I've seen it with other bodies of water overnight after years of drought.

Like the Aral Sea water is being diverted to irrigate arid farmland.

John Coleman struck me as an interesting man of fine character and principals, as well as common sense and humor. Very few such people exist in our institutions anymore; they are a dying breed.
