The guy standing next to the station with a cigarette lighter may have something to do with the high reading too.

I worked as a mobile diesel mechanic, quite often off the I-80 diesel truck inspection station in Truckee, Ca. During the summer, the temperature there does not usually exceed 95° F. On the blacktop pad where all the trucks park, it radiates 130°F. I know from experience and having to work in it. I sweat like I've never sweat before, and we had to wear dark blue coveralls. Climate change/Global warming is B.S.
