"Debates" run by the news media have always been a joke and a blatant propaganda tool. Leading biased "questions", no real meaningful back & forth, absurd time constraints, no moderator with the power or will to stop candidates from bloviating on with their pre-rehearsed stump speeches and refusals to actually answer questions or stay on topic. They need a podcast conversation style debate, with no time constraints, and a moderator with the power of the gameshow buzzer.
