I'm not sure the reduced human emissions during lockdown affected actual atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration appreciably, indicating that the CO2 increase would have very little to do with human beings.

I worked for Pan American Airways prior to airline deregulation. Tickets were not as cheap proportionally as today, but service was SO MUCH better. Even the aircraft were maintained in better mechanical condition and were cleaner. Flying today is absolutely miserable by comparison.
